Barbra Frankel

Barbra has an extensive career in education and the arts with specialization in special education and communication development among adolescents with exceptional needs and learning disabilities. She has worked within the New York City educational system as a teacher of special-education-needs students in high school levels. Barbra has developed approaches and methods that particularly address psychosocial trauma both acute and chronic among diverse populations affected by genetic, environmental and social dysfunctions. Her experience in arts, crafts and sports training adds new perspective and direction to the needs of youths and adults in present post-COVID and socially disruptive times.
